  5. This works with the MMANA program...!!!
  6. Sergey_Suchugov says... ,,, when connecting a 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm cable at the junction, the reflected wave level is approximately-14dB (SWR=1.5=75/50), which is 10^(-14/10)=0.0398 or 4% of the power. Therefore, less than 4% will be returned to the transmitter (taking into account losses in the area from the junction to the transmitter), which is not some crazy value. Moreover, the antenna inside the modem is more likely to return even more, since it is small in size and not fully consistent over the entire frequency range of the modem (780-2700 MHz). In such a situation, it is unlikely to notice any big difference in the temperature of the modem when working on a 75 Ohm and 50 Ohm cable with the palm of your hand. But the junction of the 50 ohm cable and 75 ohm cable still needs to be organized. And how is this done everywhere? Yes, the same F-connectors. So the standard F-mama or "barrel" of these connectors works tolerably (has a low reflection coefficient) only in the TV range (up to 800 MHz). As the frequency increases, the reactivity of the connectors increases dramatically due to the capacitance between the inner lobes covering the central core of the cable and the outer conductor of the connector. Because of this, the SWR at the junction with the F-connector increases and reaches -5 in the range of 2500-2700 MHz...-6dB, which causes reflection 10^(-5.5/10)=28% power levels. This is already essential. Based on this, I would not recommend using a 75 ohm cable if your adapter and antenna are positioned by the manufacturer as 50 ohms. In this case, the reflection will already be from two points in the transmission line between the antenna and the modem. True for a long cable (more than 10 meters) the reflected wave from the junction near the antenna at the transmitter input is almost attenuated, but the radiated power of the entire system is reduced by about |10 * log((1-0,28)*(1-0,28))|=2.8 dB. And what is 2.8 Db? This is an increase in the noise level. However, if your budget is limited (after all, a TV cable is much more expensive than a 50 Ohm cable) and the distance to the BS is not very large, this option of using a 75 ohm cable is allowed. Another disadvantage of these f-connectors, I would call poor contact reliability. The contact, of course, is inferior to the collets of the N and SMA connectors in terms of area and materials ( Chinese cables sometimes even use copper-plated steel in the central core). If you do it for yourself and have the opportunity to re-tighten the connectors every six months, clean the contacts, then using such a cable and connectors is for you, if you install for money, then there is a possibility of leaving for a guarantee)).

  8. Harry36, with your dimensions, the antenna does not have VSWR <-1,2-1,4 on the frequency band 1,7-2,7MHz....!!! If you want you can post your cst file....!!!

  20. Antenna 20-Series NOBICOM high – tech product, designed to work in the toughest conditions. The antenna works most effectively in buildings of low and medium density, which reduced the effect of multiple reflections of the signal. In such conditions, the MIMO technology does not give the desired effect, and the cost of the two polar antenna is not justified. The package includes a fixing rotary device for mounting on bracket or mast. operating frequency range, MHz - 1900-2700 Gain, dBi 17-20 days Width in H-plane, degrees - 13-15 days Width in E-plane, deg - 13-15 sidelobe not more than-12dB Isolation between ports, not less than - 35dB Input impedance, Ohm 50 VSWR in operating frequency range, no more - 1,5 Permissible power W - 50 Polarization vertical/horizontal Weight, the kg - 3.2 Mount - mast/bracket diameter 20-52mm dimensions, cm - 45х45х6 Allowable wind speed, km/h - 20 Connectors antenna SMA-female x 2 Connectors adapters (included) - N-male - CRC9 or N-male - TS9 Material protective cover - ABS plastic with UV protection antenna Material - galvanized steel fastener Material - steel screen Material - steel Protective coating - polymer powder paint Length of USB cable, m - 10
  21. Vova, do you have any dimensions to this ... ???
