Rond Batwing

Thank you. I opened the batwing rond.dxf you sent me and it looks like this on the 2nd page.

The graph doesn't look very good at 1800MHz. Is it different?

The diameter of the antenna in "batwing rond.dxf" is 103mm. What is the diameter of the reflector? And what is the distance, 35mm?

Thank you for updating the post above with the images.

I think the 186mm is the diameter of the cone base. What is the height of the cone and the outside diameter?

Perhaps someone will help the room version of the batwing antenna implementation...

How is the central part? are X-oriented and Y-oriented antennas touching each other?

,,,it would be nice if you could show through a tutorial how to do an optimization and run faster in CST Microwave Studio...!!!

I agree. Really interesting, BTW

,,,I considered it sensible to resume Aurel's idea from the beginning and to present a version of the Batwing wire antenna...

Or something like this, Petra 10 analog.

Can be done in MIMO?

interesting antenna on the 0.88G. Share antenna sizes? Or project if modeling in CST Studio

Can this design be extended? (700-900) - (1700-2700) - (3330-3800)

,,, yes, the frequency band can be extended, but it's extra work...!!!

Has anybody tried to measure the real made antenna samples upon those design on some VNA (NanoVNA) and compare the simulations to the real results?

on this ALL METAL structures (if no mistakes have been made) results should be close to simulations(5% 7%) BUT if DIELECTRICS have been used...THINGS GO HAYWIRE FAST and BAD...in MY experience (change in dielectric constant from 1.1 to 1.075 HUGE dimensions and results difference at 2.4 ghz and PATCH ARRAY)
